Five Of The Best Boxer Training Tips

Are you having fun with your Boxer or is he causing you a lot of Boxer training problems? Boxer training isn’t easy. There are many things you must learn to successfully train your boxer.

First, you must spend lots of time training your boxer. Hiring someone else for Boxer training will save you time but can be quite expensive.

It’s important to have the right attitude towards Boxer training. You can’t just ignore your boxer’s bad behavior. Barking, biting, chasing, scratching, jumping and house breaking problems must be dealt with as soon as possible.

Boxer Training Tip One:
House break your puppy as soon as you bring him home. Boxers are smart. With proper boxer training, he’ll quickly learn where to “do his business”.

Boxer Training Tip Two:
Boxers need lots of daily exercise. They love to run and play. With a little boxer training, your dog will quickly learn to love to take walks. Avoid running outside when it’s too hot because Boxers tend to overheat.

Your Boxer needs a lot of human interaction and socialization with other pets and people so they don’t get bored. They always need something to do. Give them toys or chewing bones to play with. Your Boxer will also enjoy playing with your other household pets.

Boxer Training Tip Three:
A great boxer training tip is to teach your dog one word commands. Boxers don’t understand human language, they only know sounds. Words like sit, stay, down, come and go are the basic one word commands to teach him first.

Boxer Training Tip Four:
Be firm and consistent. You must show your authority over your Boxer so that he knows that you are the boss. Never let him control you. But, always treat him kindly. Never hit or shout.

Boxer Training Tip Five:
Praise and reward your Boxer when he does what you want him to do. Positive reinforcement and lots of love will make him your new best friend.
